'OFSTED'... 'This is a very good school with a particularly caring ethos in which pupils develop very positive attitudes and behaviour. Very good leadership and management enable the school to sustain good teaching so that pupils achieve well and attain above average standards. The teaching team projects a caring and fully inclusive ethos that firmly underpins the Christian basis and principles on which the school is run. Pupils are given very good opportunities to think about rules and codes of behaviour and this leads to an atmosphere around the school where pupils are keen to learn, respect and value each other and develop very good relationships.' |

| The school is very much part
of the village community and this influences its work. It has
very close links with the local parish and makes considerable use
of the church for study and special celebrations and receives
support in return from a variety of local groups and
individuals. The school endeavours to provide a secure environment within which full expression can be given to spiritual, moral and emotional growth allowing children to acquire a positive sense of the own worth. |
